Biblical Affirmations for Financial Promises

You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
— Deuteronomy 8:18

Meditation plays a profound role in helping us embrace a new reality deeply rooted in biblical truth, which is, in essence, the ultimate reality. In the kingdom of God, our confession of these passages is not an attempt to make them true; rather, it serves as an acknowledgment that they are already true in the spiritual realm.

Through meditation and confession, we seek to align our hearts with God's spiritual realities, thereby paving the way for these truths to bear fruit in our earthly existence. It's important to note that our confessions are not a means to compel God into action, but rather a way to persuade our hearts to firmly believe in the promises He has already made.

He proclaimed himself as our provider, we simply want to believe him and experience his abundant provision.

As we focus on passages where God Himself promises to provide and reveals facets of His character, we gain insight into His desire for us to experience His divine nature. The Bible reminds us that He has bestowed upon us great and precious promises with the purpose of allowing us to partake in His divine nature.

God's intention is for His people to be blessed, not merely for their own benefit, but so that they may become a source of blessing to others. Through the practice of meditation and confession, we effectively persuade our hearts to make these truthful promises believable. This transformation of our belief system empowers us to step into the abundant spiritual truths that God has already established for us.

In essence, confession of Biblical truth helps us tap into the spiritual realm where God's promises are already a reality. By confessing and meditating upon His Word, we persuade our hearts to accept these truths as personal and attainable.

It's a process of aligning ourselves with God's divine plan and character, ultimately empowering us to experience His blessings and share them with others. Through this practice, we recognize that God desires His people to thrive and be conduits of His goodness in the world.

Read through the passages slowly. I have rephrased each passage in the first person. As you read the first person confession, involve your emotions to the point that each statement feels true for you. Cultivate thankfulness all the way through as you seek to establish your heart in what the Bible has to say about the Lord God your provider!
