Hebrews 13:9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

The New Covenant is the fruition of a promise made to mankind from before the foundation of the world, it’s the fruition of a promise made to Abraham and his seed, which is Jesus. This is all about Jesus, he’s just chosen to make us just like him and qualify us for the same eternal life that he experiences. God’s grace isn’t that your sins are forgiven, it’s that now that you are righteous, you can live with God empowering you and establishing you. Grace is the gas in the tank of the righteous. We have to be aware that since we didn’t make ourselves righteous, we can’t, in our own strength, live up to the level that God has placed us. Sometimes we think that since God has made us righteous, we now have to live up to that as if now it’s our responsibility to prove that we're righteous. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone, God sees you as approved. Grace is not the power to do, it's God influencing your capacity to believe. Grace is a divine influence on your heart, your heart is where you believe, and Jesus says that all things are possible to him who believes. Grace serves up an opportunity to take action toward what you say you believe. Grace is that opportunity to step into the realm of all promises being yes.

Acts 20:32 So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

We have access to God because of the body of Christ, the blood of his sacrifice, the indwelling Holy Spirit who anoints and sanctifies, and the very spirit or presence of Christ in us so that we even smell like him. We carry the coals of the perfect sacrifice to be used by our Heavenly Priest, Jesus, we are literally the temple in which the presence of God tabernacles or lives among mankind. We are to continually be aware of God, entering through the veil of his flesh, through his cross, and be bold in our identity, in who we are. God wants to bless us not because we offer the right kind of sacrifice, he wants to bless us because of who we now are in him. We are acceptable to him because Jesus was the once and for-all perfect sacrifice.
