There is as much "faith" in science as there is in religion, more really if you think about it. For believers, faith is not choosing to believe in something even though you lack evidence, faith is actually an internal confident persuasion that God is who he says he is. The religion of science says, we don't know why things work they way they do but we know it's not because of God. A statement like that takes great faith.
Why is it that when you try to move forward it seems like you are pulled backward? Have you experienced this? Maybe you've decided to improve your health or financial situation only to face a challenge that makes it worse. Or you have decided to overcome a repetitive sin habit only to continue to give in. WHY?
“Who do you say I am?” This is a vital question posed by Jesus to Peter. Peter looked to God’s point of view to find an answer. If we would apply this principle in our daily lives we would have victory in every area. We must understand God through Jesus rather than our reasoning about circumstances. Use this extensive list to get to know Jesus more.
Knowledge doesn't produce transformation. Truth alone doesn't produce transformation. But when you internalize truth to the point of invoking an emotional response, you have engaged true mind renewal that can and will produce deep, healthy, profound and lasting transformation. So how do you emotionally invest in the Word of God? Look at Joshua 1:8.
In these passages we see the heart of God toward us, we are no longer servants, we are now friends. Say it with me, “I’m a friend of God!” I pray you can say that and feel the significance in your heart. You see, as amazing as this transition is, it gets better. Not only did Jesus make us friends through his death, burial and resurrection; he also made us joint-heirs.
